Jim
welcomes back Louise Yamada CMT, Managing Director of Louise Yamada
Technical Research Advisors. Louise believes that recent market weakness
may be the start of a cyclical market correction of 10% or so. She
notes the recent deterioration of a number of indicators. As to bonds,
she believes the long bond has seen its low in rates, but the transition
to higher rates can take a number of years. Louise also believes the
dollar may be beginning a new structural bull market. Conversely, she
believes the gold bull is over for now and she expects a longer-term
consolidation in oil, with important support at $90 a barrel. Also in
this segment, Ryan Puplava has this week’s Market Wrap-up, Erik Townsend
covers commodities, and Rob Bernard has the Fixed Income Report.
