  1. Gerald Celente is just like everybody else he knows how to criticize and point finger but have no answer. At least for me the solution is to return to protectionism. (a) rescind all the free trade agreement and return to tariffs on imports (make manufacturers make their products here most importantly parts and components instead of just assembly), Free market(you're free to sell your imports or export your product) but not free trade . (b) Curtail Unions ability to negotiate (all the worker's welfare is already is the government laws and regulations). (c) Gradually eliminate SS, Medicare and Medicaid and rescind the drug bill pushed by Bush at least to the young generation (All these can be deducted on employee's benefit just send the SS deduction to employee's chosen investment or bank instead of the government collecting them to spend). (d) Eliminate the IRS by rescinding income tax and replacing it with value added tax or sales tax (this way we all pay instead of low income being exempted from income tax). (e) Eliminate unnecessary Defense spending (such as the F-35 program and getting out of the Middle East, at least destroy the enemy country and leave to them to fend for themselves). (f) Eliminate all foreign aid. (g) Relax all restrictive business regulations (such environmental, etc.) and eliminate unnecessary government department (e.g. Education dept., Homeland Security, etc.). I'm sure there are plenty of other way to improve the US economy
